We can finally reveal that two of the prototypes from Jernbanebyen have now been reassembled on site by CG Jensen A/S as part of VELUX’ new innovation hub. You’ll find reused floor slabs turned into stair treads and visible traces of transport where damaged boards have been replaced. An ongoing experiment, now embedded in a space for innovation, testing and development.
VELUX’ LKR Innovation House – an exciting new home for product development and innovation in Østbirk - is designed to support collaboration while keeping environmental impact low. The building reduces the need for new materials and minimizes waste, all while maintaining a healthy indoor climate.
