EFFEKT is a design and research studio based in Copenhagen.
We provide solutions and services within
the built environment and the natural systems that sustain us.
Our ambitious team includes designers, architects, urban planners, landscape architects, and an array of highly skilled specialists.
All of us are thinkers and builders.
Our projects range in size from urban plans to landscapes, public space, buildings and objects.
We combine a holistic and systemic design approach with human-scale design sensitivity and focus on end user experience.
EFFEKT is Danish for impact.
We believe that buildings and cities must create a lasting positive impact on people and planet.
We aim to create a lasting social, economic and environmental impact with each individual project.
We always consider our designs in a larger local, regional and global context - creating societal value beyond brief and client.

Internship
We are always looking for talented students of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and constructing architects to join our team.
We accept 6 - 8 interns during the spring and the fall semester, which run from August through January and from February through June.
We do not offer summer internships and only students enrolled at an accredited university are eligible to apply for an internship.
The architecture Internship positions for the Autumn 2026 semester are now open for application.

We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated intern to join our Business Development and Communications Team in Nørrebro. If you have a broad interest in communication and the business side of the creative industry – and enjoy working on diverse tasks – this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll be based at our Blågårdsgade office, becoming part of a dynamic and social work environment with plenty of events and activities.
