Following in the footsteps of Foster + Partners and Lundgaard & Tranberg Arkitekter, EFFEKT’s co-founder and creative director, Sinus Lynge, will give a Daylight Talk on October 23rd.
Entitled The Nature of Light, the talk explores how architecture can frame and enhance our experience of light – as it changes throughout the day and across the seasons – and how it can serve as a medium to reconnect people with nature. Drawing on both data-driven insights and design philosophy, Sinus shares learnings from a series of educational and residential projects in Denmark.
The global Daylight Talks lecture series explores the transformative role of natural light in architecture – featuring leading designers and educators who make daylight a central part of their work and teaching.
When: October 23, 15:00 (CET)
Where: Royal Danish Academy, AUD. 14
Watch the full talk online from November 26.
The event is open to everyone and presented in collaboration with the 10th VELUX Daylight Symposium, VILLUM Window Collection, CAFx - Copenhagen Architecture Forum, and The Royal Danish Academy – Institute of Architecture, Urbanism & Landscape.
Endorsed by the UIA - International Union of Architects and the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE).
