Tue Foged to present radical reuse strategies from Roskilde Festival’s new headquarters at Building Green Aarhus

On April 22 at 2.45 pm you can meet Tue Hesselberg Foged, Co-founder and Creative Director at EFFEKT, at BG:VEST/Building Green Aarhus, Main Stage.

Tue will share insights from the transformation of Hal 9 – the future headquarters and creative hub of Roskilde Festival in Musicon. Here, we are rethinking 2,000 m² of raw concrete and working systematically with radical reuse of materials and components to minimise waste and significantly reduce the project’s carbon footprint.

Hal 9 is an exploration of circular practice in action – and a case for how existing buildings can frame new communities. In his talk, Tue will present key lessons, dilemmas, and concrete strategies from the project, alongside perspectives from other transformations where reuse has been a driving architectural principle.

BG:VEST brings together leading voices from across the built environment – municipalities, clients, advisors, companies, and researchers – all working hands-on with the transition of our cities and buildings.

Tickets are free – we hope to see you there!

The partnership behind the transformation of Hal 9 consists of Jespersen Nødtvedt, EFFEKT, Artelia Denmark and Krogsgaard & Co.
