Reduction Roadmap 3.0 points to a significant reduction in the climate impact of construction if Denmark is to stay within the Paris Agreement’s 1.5-degree target.
But how do we get there? What needs to change in the way we design, build and regulate the built environment to bring the average limit value for new construction down to 4.6 kg CO₂-eq./m²/year?
On 7 September, EFFEKT co-founder Sinus Lynge will join Steffen Maagaard (Artelia Denmark) and Mikkel Schlesinger (CEBRA) at the Danish Architecture Center (Dansk Arkitektur Center) for a DAC Dialogue on what the new climate requirements could mean for the construction industry.
Together, they will present Reduction Roadmap 3.0 and outline possible pathways towards aligning construction with climate science and the Paris Agreement. The presentation will set the stage for a broader debate with politicians, researchers and industry representatives ahead of the upcoming revision of the Building Regulations.
