Phase 1 of Home.Earth Nærheden is complete – 69 new homes are ready and the first residents have moved in and started turning the place into their own.

Final touches are now being made to the shared outdoor areas, and move-in for Phase 2 is just around the corner.

Once finished, the housing development will include 158 apartments ranging from 44 m² to 130 m² – offering flexible homes and shared facilities designed to support everyday life and community. Nærheden will have the lowest carbon footprint for multi-storey housing in Denmark – and it’s been built without added costs, which is made possible through industrial building methods and smart material choices that make sense both environmentally and economically.
