At this year’s Lviv Urban Forum, the focus is on Ukraine’s recovery and long-term development. EFFEKT Co-founder and Creative director Sinus Lynge, together with architect Juan Pablo Herrero Gil, had the privilege of contributing to this important conversation and sharing our work with a dedicated group of European architects and city planners — especially by presenting the Children’s Living Places concept together with SOS Børnebyerne and SOS Ukraine.
The Children’s Living Places project seeks to strengthen foster care in Ukraine by creating nurturing, holistic living environments, with a strong emphasis on healthy, low-carbon construction. We’re grateful for the warm reception the project has received from the Lviv City Council and city architect Anton Kolomieitsev – and for these moments of exchange, learning, and inspiration.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners who make this work possible — including VELUX, Villum Fonden, Viessmann Foundation, Grundfos Foundation | PDJF, Bitten & Mads Clausens Foundation, DOVISTA, SOMFY FOUNDATION, VELUX Ukraine, Artelia Denmark, Flügger group A/S, EIFO, and Kromann Reumert.
