As part of the renovation of Kildevæld Public School, EFFEKT has designed a new cultural community center as a shared facility between the school and the surrounding neighborhood. The center will contain a library, theatre and concert hall, activity spaces, workshop areas, cafe and kitchen, conference facilities and various other functions and spatial qualities to ensure flexible use and a broad range of experiences.

The cultural community center is partly a transformation of an existing building and partly a completely new building. The aim for the building is to open up and create new synergies between the neighborhood and the school with a strong focus on culture, movement, nature and climate.
