SIMAC is on the cover of the Danish Architectural Association’s magazine ‘Arkitekten’ 03/2025.

Under the theme of education and learning environments SIMAC - Svendborg International Maritime Academy is featured as a standout example of structural grids in architecture and as a future-proof building that’s built to endure both rising waters and shifting needs.

The six-page feature celebrates the building’s deliberate simplicity – from the exposed structure inside and out to the airy, floating, air-cushioned skylight that fills the atrium with natural light.

The material palette is tough and industrial on the outside, yet thoughtfully balanced with a warm, refined interior of custom-designed fixed furniture.
