Forest Tower awarded European Steel Award

The Forest Tower received the bi-annual European Steel Award from the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork. The award goes to projects where steel plays a vital and creative role to create high-quality buildings. Previously, Amager Bakke, DR Byens Koncerthus and Øresundsbroen have also received the European Steel Prize.

The tower was previously awarded the German Design Council’s ICONIC Award in 2017 for ‘Visionary Architecture’ and the AZ Award in 2020.

The tower is also currently nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award, which by many is considered the ‘Oscar’s of Architecture’.
