Gellerup Park is among the three projects selected as finalists for the Danish Landscape Prize 2021.
EFFEKT and SLA worked holistically to transform the flat 1960´s social housing outdoor areas into a new urban park that adds a social and beautiful green space to the neighborhood of Gellerup, bringing to the neighborhood new playgrounds and various facilities for social and fitness activities, all immersed in thriving vegetation.
Now in its 10th edition, the Danish Landscape Prize is awarded every year by Park- og Naturforvalterne, Danske Arkitektvirksomheder og Danske landskabsarkitekter. The other finalist project in this edition are Forpladsen til K.B. Hallen by Marianne Levinsen Landskab and Remiseparken by BOGL.
The winner will be announced during the award ceremony on November 18th in Copenhagen.
