REGEN VILLAGES WIN SINGULARITY UNIVERSITY'S GLOBAL CHALLENGE AWARD | September 1 2016
At this year’s Singularity University Global Summit, founder of ReGen Villages, James Ehrlich, presented the ReGen Villages project, which has now been announced the winner of the Global Grand Challenge Award 2016 in the Shelter category. The winning projects are chosen based on their “capability of positively impacting humanity on a global scale through the use of exponential technology”. Development organizations and companies like the American Red Cross, charity:water, SAP, Genentech, HCL and United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology have helped evaluate the potential human and economic impact of this year’s Global Grand Challenge Award applicants.
