Kildevæld Community Center is the design of a new culture house and community center connected to an exciting public school, Kildevæld, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The community center will be a shared facility between the school, the surrounding city and the local communities and organizations. Containing a library, theatre and concert hall, activity spaces, workshop areas, café and kitchen, conference facilities and various other functions and spatial qualities, the community center aims to ensure a flexible use with a broad range of experiences. The aim for the community center is to open up the building and create new synergies between the neighbourhood, the city and the school with a strong focus on culture, movement, nature and climate.
